This beach is right next to the road. Parking is limited. Beach is not too big, but the snorkeling is amazing because the sea turtles are there in the sea grass. It was great to swim with them. If you linger, they do come up...More

recommended to us by a local - we found this to be the best beach on St John, Untouched and undiscovered. Snorkeling was great here ! much better than trunk bay. You could see schools of fish right from the edge of the sea in...More

This beach is very calm and excellent for families with young children. Snorkeling was great - this morning we saw several turtles munching on sea grass, along with many fish. Arrive early to get a good parking place.

If you don't want crowds and touristy beaches on St Johns drive on past the first few on the North shore and spend your time at Maho Bay Beach where the locals go.... Great snorkeling, water, views and no crowds!!!

Probably the greatest concentration of flamingo tongue snails I have come across (on the western side of the bay, towards Cinnamon Bay) and some turtles in the turtle grass (on the Eastern side, towards St. Francis Bay)

I'm not really into all the families at this beach and the road is only a few feet away. However, if you snorkel around the point on the right hand side of the beach, it's like snorkeling in a canyon. Very different, yet cool. Then...More

Love the turtles! It's a great little beach. Get there early to get a parking spot. There are many shade trees due to the the narrow beach and is great for little ones.

Maho is one of many excellent beaches on St John. Its a little farther from Cruz Bay and a little smaller so it's less trafficked. However, its got all the essential goods of turquoise calm waters and beautiful sand. I only made a short stop,...More

No they don't. There are no facilities of any kind on the beach, just sand and beautiful water.
