You can get a park map here, stamp your passport book, and buy gifts/postcards. There are some small displays, water, and restrooms. Water is not readily available throughout the park - so fill up! Member of the Friends of the Park was on staff to answer questions - no NPS ranger when we were there. We did talk to a... More

I really enjoyed my time at the NPS Visitors Center as they had a lot of information about St John, you can sign up for activities (I was taking a hike with them) and the gift shop was excellent. The lady who assisted me is the wife of one of the park rangers and she was so nice and friendly... More

Check out Cruz bat for quick eateries and local shopping. There isn't much else to do here but it's a nice stop on your way to one of the other amazing beaches on the island.

This is a very nice little visitor center. I found the staff very friendly and informative. There is some good information here with a small gift shop, however the prices are rather high. Still, it is a very nice place and is the first place to visit before going anywhere in the park. Make sure you get a park map.

Had to meet here for the Reef Bay Trail tour. Loved the layout model of the trails throughout the island. Book and brochures available if needed.

We asked directions and information regarding services in the location of our in. We felt like we were intruding on the 2 women working there, who seemed to be more interested in their own conversation.

It is a relatively small Visitors Center but has maps and water. They will also lend you a walking stick or small back pack if needed. There are postcards and some small things to buy like the Bay Rum cologne. The rangers are always very nice.

Located just across from the Ferry Dock, this should be your first stop when you arrive. They have a wealth of information, hiking trails, maps, etc. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. They have a very nice gift shop. It's a nice place to pick up a t-shirt.
