Bay with a beautiful, broad beach that is ideal for swimming and snorkeling, with a view of Bordeaux Mountain, the island's highest point at 1,277 feet, in the background.

This was our favorite beach we visited during a week stay on the island. The road is tricky and some regular sedans made it fine but I was glad we were in a 4-wheel drive Jeep with good ground clearance. We arrived early, found a...More

This was another snorkle area that did have some people - but not many were snorkling -- which is a shame because the fish were plentiful!!

But what a beach at the end! Soft sand, good snorkeling, trash cans, shade, picnic tables! In past years we have been the only one there, but today many people braved the road and enjoyed the beach. Great hikes there too!

Definitely a crazy drive, go to the bathroom before you start out, it's pretty bumpy but more than worth the trip.

It is very challenging to get to this beach. You need an four wheel drive to get here, but it is definitely worth the time it takes to get here. We arrived at 5PM and were the only people there. Hard to beat that!

The road may be rough but it's fine for a stroll between the two bays. Nice walk to the point between the bays. Decent snorkeling too, and very peaceful at night.

It is very easy to get into the water, but other than the one rocky area on the left side, the water was murky and uninhabited. There is much better snorkeling at other beaches!

Didn't get to Little Lameshur which is just fine. Left the car at the end of the pavement. Or at least where the road ends, before somehow a ton of concrete shows up again. Walked about 3/10 of mile to the Tektite trail head. Fun...More

Because I heard the roar was pretty rough, I was nervous about going to this south side beach which is at the end of 107, the road out of coral bay. You go past salt pond to where the road turns into a dirt road...More
