There are many shops along bay street. Great for shopping for jewelry, souvenirs, and beauty products. If you walk down the side streets there are more shops and even though most of the souvenirs are the same, there are the rare finds of unique jewelry...More

Bay Street in Nassau is full of restaurants, shops and places of culture. But on Jan 1 every year just after midnight the Junkanoo Parade starts and lasts all night. The floats, costumes and music are phenomenal and impossible to describe. They are lavishly decorated...More

We walked along Bay Street and were harassed by vendors wanting to give us this or that and not liking no as an answer- the streets smelled of urine and trash. Felt very unsafe and would especially not recommend bringing children to the retail district...More

Very Crowded street, there’s a lot of gift shops, liquor stores, restaurants, brand stores like Pandora, Gucci, etc... but prices are very high. It’s a must visit street if you go to Nassau, but in my opinion not the best place to shop
