Went for a walk on the beach - which is the closest to the port. But should have gone to another. Broken glass everywhere. Very dangerous for your feet.

Yes, you can rent chairs and umbrellas. It's not expensive to rent them either, when you rent them, you tell them where you want the chair / chairs and they bring them right where you want to sit.
