The beach was nice and not crowded. You can take a long walk on the beach. I was happy to see the "no wake zone" marked by buoys.

No it's public beach. There will be locals there trying to rent you chairs sell drinks etc. But you can go down to a hotels beach and order drinks of the beach wait staff. They will serve you for cash.
How close is it to Atlantis? Can you rent jet-skis? Parasail?
