This was our second time in the Bahamas for the Battle for Atlantis and the second time using Cheryl's Bahamas Taxi. We did both a round trip airport service along with a separate trip that included a stop at the grocery store for provisions. Cheryl and her team were excellent throughout our stay and all of our rides in providing outstanding and friendly customer service and sharing their knowledge of Nassau and the Bahamas to ensure you have a great trip and experience. We've even had the privilege of meeting Cheryl twice and she is the best! We will continue to stick with them for all future trips and highly recommend Cheryl's to anyone for the friendly and dependable service and terrific value.

I booked Cheryl’s Bahamas Taxis and Private Tours for my family’s transfer from the airport to our resort and back as well as for our transportation to Paradise Island for our excursion to Blue Lagoon Island and back to our resort. I was really impressed with the professionalism of the drivers and how they were on time every time, including for the 6:30 a.m. pick up at our resort for our excursion. I can’t remember that driver’s name, but on the way back to the resort in the afternoon, he described what we were seeing along the way. It felt like a little tour, and it was enough to make us want to return to Nassau to explore the island some more. Communication with the company before our trip was professional as well. Plus, they surprised my twins with birthday gifts, which they presented upon arrival to the island — what a great welcome!! Next time we visit the Bahamas, we’ll book with Cheryl’s again and schedule an actual tour of the historical and cultural sites.

We recently decided to use this company for airport transfers during our recent trip to Paradise Island, and we could not have made a better decision!
Every aspect of our experience was beyond our expectations from the initial booking process to the last goodbye at the airport.
Ms. Cheryl takes a great deal of pride in her company, and surrounds herself with a staff who support her passion and beliefs.
Sherri and Lakita were amazing in assisting with booking, and making some last minute schedule and itinerary changes, but the highlight of our experience was meeting our new friend Ramone, our driver.
He greeted us at the airport upon arrival with such professionalism and personality, we requested him to personally be assigned to all of our bookings!
We had originally booked a rental car, but after witnessing some of the local driving, we decided to cancel and booked a 3 hour private tour with Ramone!
He picked us up promptly only to ask if we minded if he stopped by the office to pick up some "Bahama Mamas" and ice cold water for our trip! Uhmmm...NO!
We hit the traditional tourist spots...Forts, Baha Mar, The Queen's Staircase, The Caves, a local bakery serving Duff pastries...and had a blast while we left the navigation and narrating to our new friend, who was full of history of the area, and had us laughing the whole time!
There are many companies offering similar services, as we did our thorough research, but I think this is truly the "Gold Standard"!
I hope this review makes the process easier for your decision.

Pickup from the airport was efficient and pleasant as they were waiting.
However our pickup from the hotel was confirmed via txt for a set time. Fifteen minutes before scheduled arrival the company called asking "if we wanted to leave a half hour later as we are close to the airport" to which I responded no as we did not want to risk being late traveling with the whole family and having to go through customs plus we had already checked out of the hotel and were waiting with our bags based on the original schedule. They told us they would be there shortly only to continuously delay and keep stating they would be arriving momentarily.
Ultimately van arrived 55 minutes late from scheduled time to the point where hotel valet was suggesting we just take our own cab or miss risking our flight. But company would not make clear that they would refund the prepaid fee for the service they could not provide.
This company is completely unprofessional to arrive this late and not communicate clearly.
We had to dash through the airport carrying a toddler to make our flight and will not use them again.
All they kept saying is sorry for the incovenience which is completely meaningless in the situation without any action.

We highly recommend to use this taxi and tour agency in Nassau Bahamas because the price of the tour is reasonable and affordable for the tourist. Our tour guide Deneka pick up us at the hotel on time. She is professional, hospitable, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. She made our experience of Nassau to be enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you very much, Deneka and Cheryl for the job well done.

Booked service in advance to and from airport. Pick up from airport they were late. Was told they would be out front with a family sign but we ended up looking around lost until someone showed up. However, our driver was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the island. Trip to the airport we asked for 9am pickup. 9:30am still no show. When I inquired we were told 10a was the best time to get to airport for our flight time takeoff at 1p (note airport is 30 min from resort). My husband is disabled and im traveling with 2 young kids so we wanted extra extra wiggle room with timing for departure. If I ask for pick up at 9a and you agree, you can't then change it to 1 hour later without us knowing/agreeing. I would not recommend this company based on the lack of professionalism and communication between parties.

Cheryl is not flexible at all. We informed her when we would like our pick up and drop off and she wouldn't budge from her assigned times. She kept telling us that lines were long and we needed extra time at the airport. We told her that we were global entry and did not need that much time but she would not work with us. When we asked to cancel, she told us that she had policies that were not written or communicated to us previously and wouldn't allow us to cancel. That being said, the driver that took us was very professional and a good driver. No issues with that part of the service.

We have been using Cheryl for five years now and the quality of service is always outstanding. This time we were lucky enough to get chauffeured by Cheryl herself and she was delightful and informative. On the way to Atlantis we were able to stop at a grocery store outside of Paradise Island and save considerably on fruit and drinks for our stay. Communications are excellent and price is fair. We will continue to book with Cheryl’s on every Nassau trip.

We booked taxi service from the airport to our Airbnb and then a return trip back to the airport. I cannot say enough good things about this company! Easy to book! Our flight was delayed quite a bit coming into Nassau, but the driver was there waiting for us! They even provided Rum punch for all of us! The driver was on time picking us up on our return trip to the airport and also explained we would go through customs in Nassau and not through Dallas. I highly recommend!!

We booked a roundtrip airport pick up and drop off with a 30 minute grocery stop included for an additional $33. I confirmed that we wanted the stop at the store when making the booking and when we sent over the credit card information. On arriving at the airport, the company representative at the airport said that there was no record of the requested grocery stop even though I showed her the email confirmation. She said that my credit card was only charged for the airport to hotel roundtrip. If I wanted to do the grocery stop, we should pay the driver the amount in cash. We agreed and was able to do the 30 minute grocery stop. After checking the credit card statement, Cheryl Bahama Taxi also charged us for the grocery stop. When I tried to reach back out to company via email twice for credit there was no response. Staff and Drivers were friendly and polite, but I do not appreciate being double charged when expectations were clearly spelled out ahead of time. Next time I will just get a cab at the airport and hotel. No need to prearrange transportation since plenty of options available.
