We stayed on cable beach for 2 weeks during the holidays. This is truly one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Bring sunscreen and a towel. I could literally lay on the beach every single day.

The beach and water by the Melia resort are amazing. Crystal clear water and white power sand. If you go down the beach there are a lot of not so nice looking areas with a giant bankrupt hotel resort - Baha Mar. It looks creepy.

We took Bus # 10 right in front of the MacDonald near the ships port, the cost was $1.25 per person (each way) the driving was about 20 minutes, we were dropped off in front of the Melia resort, walked thru the hotel to access the beach. The beach itself is about a couple miles long with only few resorts... More

If you are going to spend time on New Providence or Paradise Island, Cable Beach and Cabbage Beach are the places to go. We stayed on Paradise Island and rented a car to visit Cable Beach. I would suggest when going to Cable Beach that you drive past the hotels (going West towards the airport) and park in the residential... More

I went to Cable beach and did not pay any of the resorts for access but went to the public area. The people are really nice and you can negotiate the rates for beach chairs, umbrellas and even the jet skiis. The beach looks good but is narrow at least away from the resorts. There is also a lot of... More

We visiting this beach in 2015 from a ship. We took a trip to the beach and spent a couple of hours there relaxing and sunbathing. The beach is huge, and when we were there (Sept '15) the place was almost deserted, don't think there was anyone with 100yds of our party of 4. Water crystal clear and warm. Limited... More

Gorgeous beach. Unfortunately we were there when it was very windy so lots of seaweed was washed up, but I imagine when it's not windy its very clean. You can also walk up and down the beaches. Nice morning stroll
