Awesome time...want to retire here! Super friendly people (locals), very low crime rate, prettiest ocean water colors, great excursions, great food, great shopping, short flight, I could go on for days!
The marine habitat at Atlantis is a sprawling expanse, so whether you take a guided tour or go it alone, you'll have to "hoof it" to see it in a few hours. If your visit extends into the evening or you're staying onsite for more...More
Had a short stay in Nassau and tried this shore excursion with Royal Caribbean. It was a sprint to put it mildly with no time to actually look at much( not that there was much to see). Could not hear the guide. The aquarium is...More
It was a somewhat significant walk from the private beach to the dig. Maybe it seemed ling because it was hot.
You take a leisurely walk through the exhibit and get to see a variety of marine life. They also had what appeared to be...More

You are not allowed anywhere except the casino and hotel lobbies without a day pass at the Atlantis. I was just there in May and I'm a travel agent. I know if you are a ship passenger they charge you $150 per person to use the pools and aquaventure water park, etc. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for half the week and the Atlantis for the 2nd half of the week. The Atlantis was by far much more fun. Also the Atlantis had much better food options (and cheaper) and more to do during the day and evening. I would highly suggest you do the same or just stay at the Atlantis. The only thing to do at the Grand Hyatt is lay around the pool all day. The sea was cold and the snorkeling was bad. No options at night other than gamble. We couldn't use the sail boats due to high wind conditions the entire time. You can't walk to any place to eat, you are a captive audience at Grand Hyatt. Don't forget your sun screen because they charge $40 for a bottle at Grand Hyatt.
