Miles long stretch of sugar white sand, shallow water and privacy. No resorts or hotels, just unspoiled solitude! Great place for a picnic and beach bumming!

Barbary Beach might be far from busy Lucaya but too close to the Lucaya State Park, whichever the reason, it has few people visits and remains its originality. Different from other beaches that you cannot walk the beach on high tide, you can always trust...More

Walk with bare feet in the the glorious white soft sand beach, marvel at the blue seas and the freshes air a person can breathe. Wonder what life is like to own one of the houses along the way. My Idea of time well spent

Went here on Tuesday and enjoyed floating and swimming. Beach was clean and not heavily attended. Could walk a hundred feet out and still stand on the sand. Collected a few shells but really enjoyed the rays.

If you rent a car, travel east to Barbary Beach. The beach is secluded and when I was there, I saw only to fisherman, a half mile away. One word to describe this beach: GORGEOUS!

Not much attention has been paid to the outside beach areas. There are much better areas to spend your time on the island.

We went with high expectations, but found a beach full of litter. It was well off the beaten path and honestly, it seemed a bit sketchy. I wouldn't recommend it. Try Gold Rock Beach or Banana Beach. Both beautiful, not crowded, and both felt safe.
