We took a drive around the island and stumbled in to this beach; was not well marked. Beautiful beach but drives into it are trashed. Must be a local's party spot but during the day, absolutely gorgeous!!

Great beach when the tide is out. Minimal amenities...just beach. Lovely sand. Surrounding park was terrific to visit. Saw no life guards while we were there.

Nice spot to get away from the hotels, and tourist cluster. The water there is great, and with such a laid back attitude from all the locals. It's fun to get out and do some exploring!

We were here twice found different things to look at both times. Once at low tide the other at high tide. Able to walk beach both times.

This beach is a great hidden gem. It is public but virtually uninhabited. It is a little hard to find but follow the signs and turn into one of the drives into the woods. Park and walk a few feet to the beach.

I LOVE Barbary Beach, this is my family party beach. It's clean, quite and out of the public's reach. You would feel like this is your very own beach in your back yard. I LOVE IT!!.

Beautiful beach with plenty of "secluded" parking areas to choose from...unfortunately badly littered with beer cans, condoms, plastic, etc...no garbage cans anywhere likely a part of the problem....its a shame the island is so littered as it is absolutely gorgeous otherwise....if there were any other souls...More
