We had visited here for a daypass on a past cruise. Currently MOST of the Grand Lucayan is closed for renovation(so they say) but I think it is closed for the economy.

I was able to walk on the beach by going around the other hotel There are 2 places to get to the beach and one is at the end of the hotel. They will not allow you thru their comples to get to the beach unles you stay there. The other access to the beach is by the police station... More

This is a small casino by average standards. We were there 3 times, never more then 50 people in the casino. The staff was fantastic and they had most of the popular games. We enjoyed our time there.

I Have Not Been Here Yet! I will say that judging from the "Reviews" it sounds like this and the other Casinos in Free port are missing a "Bet" by not exhibiting and taking advantage of the opportunity to upgrade and impress an increasing number of Cruise Travelers in the area so close to American Ports. Appears it's "All for... More

Was not impressed at all with this place. Poor service, tight slots. Played a number of days and Casino was like a ghost town. Hmmm, i did say tight slots!

Unfortunately the casino is still closed from the damages from Hurricane Matthew. Location is across from Port Lucaya so it is convenient entertainment--when it's open.

Casino and resort are closed apparently until may or longer due to hurricane. Check to make sure the resort/casino are open. Beach area is open but security guards are watching the hotel area and are mean to beach goers. Public beach access the people are very 👍🏽

The slot machines really need updating. Staff needs training in being more friendly, too. I received a large slot machine payout, and the person dispensing money asked me if I were going to tip her. The cocktail personnel don't show up very frequently, and the male waiters, only give attention to hot young females. Truly hitting on them.

I believe the Casino was closed due to Hurricane Matthew last week. Power was restored to that section of the Lucayan Market place but the locals told us the hotel was still being repaired.

This is not your typical casino where people are smiling and having a good time or shouting because they are on a winning streak. I could be wrong and maybe this place is packed and lit in the summer time. I played mostly table games, don't remember winning much.
