We were so glad we got to go to Gold Rock beach. It’s very clean & serene. I wish we would have thought to take a picnic lunch.

What a lovely little slice of paradise! We visited this beach 3 times during our 10 day stay on Grand Bahama Island. It is very much worth the entrance price of $5 per person and the 5-10 minute walk on the boardwalk through the mangroves....More

Exceptionally beautiful beach. If you go at high tide you won't see how beautiful it is. It costs $5 per person but is worth it. 5-10 minute walk across the mangroves on a board walk. Red wing black birds will eat out of your hand.Large...More

I’m slowly learning that when you plan out your itirinary yourself you save money. Many tour agency charge you anywhere between $40-$80 pp for tours. We rented a car and did the tours ourselves. We initially went to Lucayan National Park, in which the entrance...More

I sincerely believe this is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Do not come to Grand Bahama and miss this! Bring a beach umbrella and plan to make a day of it, it's absolutely amazing.

We spent the day at Gold Rock Beach and it was perfect! We rented a car from C&V car rentals near the lucaya marketplace for $39 a day. (Better deals if you rent multiple days) We then drove out to Banana Bay restaurant, my fave...More

Gold Rock Beach is a part of the Lucayan National Park. There is a $5 fee to go through the park, but I'm not sure if you have to pay that fee if just going to the beach. The beach is a pretty easy walk...More

We spent the day at the beach. It does not have chair service or food. You need to bring what you want in with you so you will be comfortable. There are some benches that are reserved for tours. We used the benches to park...More

Gorgeous sand, beautiful water, peaceful atmosphere. This is truly a hidden gem. I’ve visited many beaches in the Caribbean. This one is the best by far!

It depends on what you want to do. If you are looking to snorkel and eat from a true small restaurant, then go to Paradise Cove. It may be crowded on cruise days. If you want seclusion and privacy, go to Gold Rock Beach... More

We rented a car for the day for 92 dollars and was able to explore on our own without being tied to a tour guide. If you can brave driving on the left side of the road and round abouts then you're golden.
