Beautiful beach and absolutely worth renting a car to get there from the cruise port. Walk over the Mangrove filled swamp with water so clear you can see all the fish in the brackish water. If you have a full day this is the perfect...More

This beach was the most beautiful beach I'd ever seen. You could walk out so far. No rocks. This is the beach seen in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. Amazing!!!

The beach is the reason to visit the national park. Gorgeous, and hardly anyone there. We came at low tide, had fun playing in the shallow water and going for a long walk looking for shells. Nice walk to get there from the parking lot,...More

Make sure you go at LOW TIDE!!! It is beautiful then, otherwise just looks like any other Bahamian beach. Great shallow area to play with kids as well, NO ROCKS!! We found a few sand dollars snorkeling, but otherwise nothing really to see underwater. It...More

As part of our shore excursion we were taken to caves and this beach is across the road from them in the Lucayan National Park. A short walk through the mangroves across a wonderful wooden bridge leads you to this wonderful beach. The sand is...More

This is a bit of a drive and away from most other tourist destinations. An occasional tourist van. Best to go at low tide. There is a fee to enter ($5.00, I think) and this is strictly a beach venue. No restaurants, bars or vendors...More

We rented a car for the day for 92 dollars and was able to explore on our own without being tied to a tour guide. If you can brave driving on the left side of the road and round abouts then you're golden.
