I enjoyed this museum immensely because it is so personal in how it tells the story of the town and surrounding area. We took our group of Boy Scouts through the museum and they loved the history, the maps and the artifacts. It is a...More

This museum is a little jewel in the Abaco Islands. Lots of nice artifacts and history of the town is shared with visitors. There is plenty to see so plan to spend a little bit if time exploring!

This FREE opportunity cows visitors to ascend the lighthouse for magnificent views and vistas of the easter coast of Abaco/ marsh harbour. Run by donation only, this is a worthwhile stop when going to Hope Town.

AFTER you climb the lighthouse visit this Museum...the history is worth leaning on your visit to the Abaco's.

This is a nice little museum and in a short visit we got a sense for the history of Elbow Cay. Nothing "awesome" but charming and worthwhile.

I waited till the weather was lousy, which was less than a day total out of six! Nonetheless, it is worth seeing this museum, as it gives some insight into the history and struggles faced by these islands. There was maybe a 20-minute video about...More

Learn a bit about Elbow Cay's history. The loyalists, hurricanes, wrecking, and more! The staff is friendly, seems to be all volunteer and committed to the Cay. Your vacation will mean more to you after an hour here.

The museum is set-up like a Loyalist home but has a video room, shell collection, genealogy records & a gift shop. My favorite parts are the old photos of the locals and the harbour especially with the sea planes landed just outside the lighthouse. The...More
