This FREE opportunity cows visitors to ascend the lighthouse for magnificent views and vistas of the easter coast of Abaco/ marsh harbour. Run by donation only, this is a worthwhile stop when going to Hope Town.

This is a nice little museum and in a short visit we got a sense for the history of Elbow Cay. Nothing "awesome" but charming and worthwhile.

In an old home in the very heart of Hope Town, the museum was certainly a labor of love for a number of people. Since it is housed in an old home of the era, an air of authenticy permeates that otherwise not be found. Chock-a-block full of old pics, old artifacts, and well, lots of old stuff, this museum... Learn a bit about Elbow Cay's history. The loyalists, hurricanes, wrecking, and more! The staff is friendly, seems to be all volunteer and committed to the Cay. Your vacation will mean more to you after an hour here.

The museum is set-up like a Loyalist home but has a video room, shell collection, genealogy records & a gift shop. My favorite parts are the old photos of the locals and the harbour especially with the sea planes landed just outside the lighthouse. The museum is run by volunteers and is usually manned but if you ask at Ebb... More
