We grabbed a Golf Cart by the ferry drop off and went onto the Bimini roads. The island is not big so you won't get lost. There are coast roads to find a place to lay out or take photos.

Have dived and snorkeled the legendary Atlantis Road several times over the past 10 years. Best at low tide for visuals. A mooring ball to anchor to, so easy access.

Keep in mind that if you decide to walk instead of taking the free hotel Tram to one of the local restaurants, you will be walking on the street or in the grass, because they don't have sidewalks.

Great place to anchor and snorkel the famous "entrance to Atlantis". However a west wind can make condition unfavorable and the water down right murky. Choose your days carefully.

Lots of Fish & Sea Life. Full of all kinds of Energy & even a 1700'S ship wreck if you know what to look for! Depth about 4 meters for a good Snorkling Stop.

I was not impressed by the Bimini Road, maybe because it was all hyped up before I went to see it but it's really nothing spectacular, see a few rocks at the bottom of the ocean that may or may not have been a road...More

The history of Bimini Road is ancient - the massive rocks, the reef/the fish and beauty of the bright blue sea is jaw dropping.

You can make up your own mind if Bimini Road is a naturally occurring formation or man-made. The size of the stones and straight lines & right angles don't often occur in nature.

I liked this--but I feel that there is not "enough" to see. great waters for a beginning snorkeler. You see fish but not that "full of colors in a huge reef" kind of way.
