A 20 minute boat ride from Resorts World. Very cool, old reinforced concrete ship that run aground some 90 years ago. Fun to jump from and explore. I'd recommend wearing water shoes though if possible, as I burnt my feet pretty bad from walking on the deck and its exposed rebar. Will probably fall apart one of these days, so... More

They said it would take 35 minutes, 1 hour 15 minutes we arrived. It took the capitan over and hour to park. We were on able to snorkel for 15-20 minutes. Visibility was not good and there were too many boats and people there. Then back for another hour. I would not recommend this trip to anyone. JC

Very cool. Great to look at but if you dive be aware of the current. It is strong and will carry you away quickly

This is a great snorkeling site. It is different from your regular reef snorkeling because there isn't any coral or anything however there were a lot of awesome fish as well as some rays hanging out at the bottom of the boat. We saw some people jumping off of it but I don't think I would get up there to... More

When the current is slack is the best time to snorkle here. The sunny side of the ship is an aquarium, literally. It's amazing. While your snorkeling and looking down, remember to look up toward the surface of the water...you'll see so much~~

Enjoyable family activity. Many different species of fish seen. Especially memorable were the sting ray. Water was a little choppy when we went, but we were still able to enter the wreck safely. Nice spot for first time snorkelers.

The Sapona was an interesting little snorkel spot. I have never snorkeled a ship wreck like this before so it was a nice experience. There are better snorkel spots around but there were a few fish and a decent variety when we were there. It was cool to go inside the ship and snorkel around. Some people were climbing to... More

It is a nice snorkel. You can go safely inside the ship, and there is plenty of sea life. It was not as clear, when we were there, and there was a lot of sea lice, but well worth it.

The Sapona is a concrete ship in the middle of the ocean! The water was beautiful! Great place to go for snorkeling or just plain fun! Be sure to jump off of the ship into the water for an adrenaline rush!

Interesting part of history of how this ship came underwater. Snorkeling at the Sapona is one of the highlights of visiting Bimini.
