Bayside View for beer and Conch salad! We went twice because it was soooo delicious. Tyrone and his wife were amazing and made our visit special. We bought stone crabs next door and had a feast! Tarpum Bay was gem!

After having spent two weeks discovering Eleuthera, I can say that Tarpum Bay ist the most picturesque town of the island. It has many beautiful buildings in Caribbean style and the view of the bay itself is magnificent. It's certainly worth a stop for a drink and/or food if you drive through. I'd even consider staying nearby for a next... More

We drove through a few times and decided to stop on our last pass to really take in the view. Found a small Bayside Cafe serving fresh conch salad and fritters. So good!

We made several stops on this trip. The water is amazing with beautiful beach areas. We also had lunch and just really enjoyed our tour. It was warm, but not too warm to really enjoy the scenery.

Tarpum Bay is one of the most quaint settlements on eleuthera. It has several good restaurants and conch salad/fritter shops. The fishing dock where fresh fish is brought in daily is there. don't miss the Arts and Cultural Center on Lord Street where there are quilting, dance and art classes as well as other events on a regular basis. Great... More

Out of all the places on Eleuthera, Tarpum Bay is our favorite. Governor's Harbour gets all the press, but TB is really the best place to stay for a trip on Eleuthera. 4 grocery stores, a handful of restaurants, easy access to both the Atlantic and the Caribbean, it makes a great home base for exploring the island. Vacation rentals... More

Took a cruise tour (Princess) which stopped here. There is a public dock here where you might be able to score a conch or fresh lobsters from a local fisherman. The roadside stand serving conch salad looked tempting too. Town has lots of local character and photo opportunities.

This is the most beautiful town right on the Caribbean blue waters. You are in awe each time you drive through. A don't miss for a picture op.

We were driving through Tarpum Bay on our way to Cape Eleuthera and I made my husband stop so I could take some pictures! Such a beautiful little town with the road right next to the coast! We saw a little food stand right on the road where they were making conch salad, but we didn't stop because we weren't... More

We enjoyed going to Tarpum Bay. We went to get some fresh fish for dinner and ended up having an outstanding conch salad and conch fritters from a roadside stand. The lady made us the fritters while we waited then we went to get the fish from the fisherman. While he was cleaning the fish she made the conch salad!... More

I love visiting Tarpum Bay. I live in South Eleuthera, and any time I am driving up island, I stop in Tarpum. The beaches are beautiful, and the main road takes you up against the coast. You should stop, park the car, and go beach combing. There are also fishermen cleaning their recent catch, so you can pick up lobster... More
