This beach was easy to find. Nice beach, with very shallow water going out pretty far. Nice walk for the length of the beach. We parked up top one time, the next time it looked like people had dug a rut and we parked at the bottom. It's a really short walk anyways. There did seem to be many mosquitoes... More

I hesitate to write things like this because it definitely will increase the visitor count. My wife and I were married there three years ago. It is truly magnificent. Of course we go back every year and it is still the same. You know how some things just can't get any better.

We went there around 5 pm (around 30 mins before sunset). We could take our non 4WD Nissan with some difficulty. However, as soon as we got out, we were terribly bitten by mosquitos. We took a picture and left as soon as we could.

We stayed in Governor's Harbor and we wanted to find a nice beach on the Caribbean side -- this beach was PERFECT. Secluded, easy to get to, warm, shallow water and soft sand. We floated in the ocean on inner tubes then returned to the sand for a nap. Shade and sun available. The road out to the beach is... More

This is a beautiful beach but a little tricky to get to. The beach is long with lots of nice sand few people. The water is very shallow, I think an adult can go out 200 yards before it over your head. We didn't have children with us but I was thinking what a great beach it would be for... More

We rented a house off of this beach. The water is very calm. My son enjoyed rolling around on the beach while my husband and I kayaked. We saw some sting rays while kayaking. There are no waves so its great for families with little kids. The water is so shallow that you can walk in for a while. We... More

This was really difficult to find. there is a "beach access" sign on the side of the road but it is so small it is easy to miss. the road access is awful - you need an SUV - very large water filled potholes and directions not clear. the beach is not as impressive as people make it out to... More

I'm giving this beach 3 stars taking into account that there weren't the best weather conditions when we visitited it. So I guess it was the cloudy weather that made it look much less "Caribbean" as at some photos I saw, lacking any turquoise colour. However, the beach was generally a disappointment. It was very crowded on Eleuthera scale and... More

Beautiful secluded beach with crystal clear water and no waves. Perfect for young children to swim in. Not a snorkeling area (there's nothing to see but sand), but a beautiful and serene location for enjoying the sand and water.
