This is, in my opinion, one of the very best beaches in Eleuthera. The road in is new and VERY smooth-maybe the best we saw in the Bahamas. Large parking area near the beach-don't know why-we didn't see a soul on a Wednesday morning.

When sailing with a Princess or Carnival cruise in the Caribbean, you will most likely stop at Princess Cays on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. Just outside the Princess property (which is very nice, but very crowded and managed (you know what I mean), there...More

Worth the drive. Pack a lunch and spend the day! One of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been to.

This beach is hard to reach. The road is old and overgrown. A 4 wheeldrive with high under clearance is required to get to the park at the end of the road. If you are brave and go slow your vehicle will make it. It...More

To find this beach, I would strongly suggest you get a map because GPS doesn't work well and there aren't many road signs showing its location. Also bring along beverages, sunblock, etc. as there is nothing AT ALL nearby...except a beautiful stretch of empty beach...More

The road is rough, 4WD is recommended. There are several beaches here, lots of snorkeling, beautiful scenery, and very few people.

Though the trip there is rugged it is worth the trip. Lighthouse beach is by far my most favourite beach. I just love to walk for miles along it's beautiful pink shore or climb up to the top of the cliff and take in the...More

The drive to Lighthouse Beach is a bit cumbersome and you need a car with some clearance otherwise you cannot make it. 4-wheel drive is probably the best option although we made it in a smaller SUV that didn’t have it. The roads are rough...More

This beach is hard to get to but worth it. The final road to the beach is very rough and riddled with ditches, holes, and puddles. A vehicle with high clearance is required. I was actually surprised that there were several other vehicles present when...More
