lovely walk from Fairborn round the lake and back , the dogs loved it , need waterproof boots at this time of the year as the tunnels were wet.

Great wild swimming here. Be aware that the water is very cold even in summer. One of the finest hidden gems in the area.

Really not ideal with a pushchair. There are parts where you'd have to carry it.

There is a lay-by on the northbound side of the A493 just south of the junction with Fordd Panteinion (the lane you need to walk up).

Deep not sure how deep though ... us too have seen people jump off top of rocks into lake ... bit scary watching .. well worth a visit for views over fairbourne and barmouth
