Wow, an amazing collection of owls and other birds of prey, as well as reptiles, insects and two very cheeky parrots! We spent a couple of hours here today, our daughter had a ball taking some fabulous photographs of these beautiful creatures up close. There are about 30 odd species of Owls/Birds of Prey, plus, reptiles, insects etc. A nice chap called "Mike" ( who I assumes works there?!) took time to take some of the animals inc. a bull snake and one of the large owls, out of their... We went there last week as a day out from Belfast. I was warned the owl sanctuary is pretty small, but I thought it couldn't be that small. Well unfortunately it is. But don't let this put you off visiting, just plan other activities for your day as I doubt you could spend more than an hour here. There is... More

I have asked all our female staff and from what i gather none of them remember being asked... More

Great spot, friendly and informative staff and the chance to see beautiful birds of prey up close. The staff are volunteers and use their time and skills to look after the birds. Some reptiles and spiders as well.

Took the grandkids here today as they love animals, and they were not disappointed. All the birds were in plain sight and it didn't matter how tall you were, they could see everything. There was a good variety of birds, plus the reptile centre. The staff were very obliging and opened windows so that you could get better photos of... More
