We have taken the decision to make Hauxley a dog-free nature reserve. Research indicates that even the presence of dogs disturbs wildlife. Visitors can use the public footpath to the beach to walk their dogs but they are no longer allowed on the reserve unless they are Guide or Assistance dogs.
