If you're in the Grenadines you need to put this on your list. Some great restaurants and an excellent bay for shelter. If you need anything done to your boat (particularly bimini/sail repairs) this is the place to get it done.

This place is as calm and relaxing it gets, whitin inhabited places;) If you come by boat, it has a nice and calm bay to anchor up in, and you can order pizza, cloth wash, fuel etc from the shore, via radio, delivery and picking up. On the main land there is a chill atmosphere and there are few ordinary... More

Beautiful views and friend locals, odd shopping. Busy little hub on this island. The roads are narrow and busy, but fun to drive.

If you want to go off the beaten path this place is it. The restaurants were the best part with very good food, rivalling anything back in the states. If you go in the summer be prepared to battle mosquitoes. They were a major nuisance and put a dapper on an otherwise quiet, kick back vacation. People are very friendly.

Spent a few nights in the bay on several occasions cruising through the West Indies. Bequia is a little jewel, so laid back, tons of fresh food, the friendliest locals and Friday nights and weekends further in the town, the locals dance with music in the streets. Caribbean style. Must go experience!

Not only is this quaint harbour beautiful with its turquoise blue water, but its easy to get around and access other places in Bequia. The local market is full of fresh produce - fruit and vegetables like breadfruit, coconut and mangoes. Best place to buy your fresh fish from the local fishermen. Walking from the harbour along the walkway /trail... More

We had a one day stop here on a cruise ship which was too big for the jetty. Came ashore by tender to visit the town. A lovely old fashioned place with pleasant an amenable locals. Quaint bright and colourful little shops with no hassle from the shop keepers. Spent an enjoyable afternoon wandering around.
