We went to this location on a tour. It was nice but it takes about three minutes of time. It is Ok. But don't go out of your way to see it.

We drove up to the ....fort? There was a low wall about 20 feet long with 5 canons. There was no information. The drive was treacherous to just see 5 canons. The view was very good of the harbor inlet. I guess that why they put the canons up there.

Hamilton Fort is one of the best spots on Bequia to view the entire harbour and the Belmont walkway including Belmont beach, Princess Margaret beach and Lower bay. Getting there may be a bit challanging if in a taxi as you could be bounced around as it navigates the rough road or your cross country driving skills tested if driving... More

Nothing really here except 5 old cannons. Nice views of Admiralty Bay and a little gazebo to stay cool under especially with the winds. A quick stop but nothing more.

Although the fort was very small, the view from up there was awesome. You can see a large bit of the island as well as far out to sea. Great if you love taking photos

The fort with its collection of cannons makes a superb viewpoint for the beautiful bay and town with its colourful houses

Nothing more than 4 cannons, but the amazing panoramatic view of Bequia is worth it. It is quite a walk from the town centre so if you are not feeling fit on hot days opt for a taxi instead. There is no stall to buy drinks from and there is no shade so make sure you bring some water!

Fort Hamilton isn't like other forts as it is only about 5 or 6 cannons atop a hill but the VIEWS of Admiralty Bay (looking in to Admiratly Bay and seeing the boardwalk and Princess Margaret Beach and Lower Bay Beach; then looking away from Admiratly Bay out into the Caribbean Sea)….priceless! We went on our own (if you take... More

I enjoy a brief history overview and a local was happy to share with us the island's history. Easy to get to.
