    Beautiful beach
The beach is beautiful. It was a little crowded but we went on a Tuesday and so there were not too many people. There are places to rent jet ski, banana boat ride, snorkel gear and we sat under the roof of a restaurant with good food,m and kind staff. It was a pleasant day of swimming and fun for all teens and small children and adults.

    Nice beach day
We had a stop here on our Panama canal cruise and it was a fun little port and this was a great beach. It is an easy $10 cab ride from the port. The cab drivers right at the end of the pier want a lot more money, so keep walking to the street and expect to pay about $10. Normally the exchange rate is about $1 to 20 Pesos, but everyone in this town exchange at $1 to 15. We got to the beach and were met by a restaurant owner who walked us to his place. We asked if they took Visa and he said yes, but after spending the day there, all of the sudden they wouldn't take a Visa and demanded cash. That was a little frustrating. Down the beach a ways is a vendor who rents snorkel gear. He rents it for 2 hours and when your time is up, he will track you down and demand more $$ or the gear back, so once you rent it, use it and plan to return it in 2 hours. The best snorkeling is left of the beach. There was a bit of a tide and surge so I was glad we rented life jackets. Down the beach to the right was a lady doing massage and the beach and she did a good job and the prices were reasonable.

    Nice beach with good snorkeling
This beach is an easy cab ride from La Crucecita or Santa Cruz. I recommend getting there early -before 10- and snorkeling around the point to find a quiet little beach. With less people, the water is more clear. See if you can find the cave. It’s around the corner. Look for a rock that has a brain-like top to it. It’s nice to grab a table at one of the restaurants and enjoy families on the beach later in the day…but our favorite is the morning.

Great beach to spend the day at....
Really enjoy this beach. Lots of people watching. Went snorkeling but found the coral was dead. We did see some fish. Hung out at La Entrega restaurant. There were 5 of us. Service was terrible, and I will try another beach restaurant next time. Definitely arrange ahead for a cab to pick you up if staying later in the day.

    A great snorkel adventure
We had an amazing day. Get a taxi at the port. We recommend Sergio because he took great care of us. Negotiate taxi fare and then pay when driver brings you back to port. The beach was fantastic for hanging out in thatched roof shade. Just order some food and drink. The day we were there a lot of locals were visiting. The number and variety of fish was amazing. Some are really close to shore. There’s a nice rock formation area you can easily swim to and discover more fish. We were there for four hours and loved it. Sergio came back at the agreed time and took us to a viewing point and an overlook point, places he knew about and wanted us to see. He took photos for us at the stops. It was our pleasure to be in his care.

The swimming is very good but the beach is somewhat narrow. None of the restaurants offer lounge chairs. Would probably not return because of that.

Popular local beach in Santa Cruz Huatulco. If you are coming to snorkel I suggest arriving early to enjoy the water before it gets stirred up by others. Find the hidden cave and if are lucky you may se a turtle. On cruise ship days the water visibility may be poor. Numerous restaurants to spend time relaxing.

Playa La Entegra was decent but the far half of the beach had coarse sand where the snorkeling is. There are lockers for rent, it was 50 pesos. I ended up snorkeling for a bit, saw some fish, and it was probably the better of the beaches in Huatulco for snorkeling. I headed back to the shore to relax and walk along the beach. The beach is mixed with locals and tourists, however, there are better beaches in Huatulco.

I would really like to give the day spent. Playa le entegra a 5 out of 5 but there were. Few things that dropped my rating of this day.
The beach is easy to get to but don’t accept the first taxi driver you see t the end of the pier. They re pushy and expensive. Keep walking to the square where you will see the local taxis. They will drive you to the beach for $10 cash each way. Upon arrival at the parking lot we were met by one of the owner of a restaurant and he walked us down the beach to his establishment and set up up with a table and umbrella on the beach for $12. This wasn’t really necessary because there was free seating I the shade a few feet away at the restaurant. Beware if you get a table on the beach, when the tide comes in, you will get wet, so don’t leave anything on the ground.
We asked the gentleman if he took visa and he said yes, but when it was time to come, all of the sudden they wouldn’t take a vis and said their machine was defective. While the exchange rate is bout 19 or 20 pesos to. $, in this town everyone wants to factor it at about 15 pesos to $1 so I can see why they don’t want to run a credit card because it works to their advantage. Be sure your dollars are crisp and clean with no tears or they won’t take them.
We got massages on the beach for around $35 for an hour. They guy who rent’s snorkeling gear rents it by the hour, not the day so be aware because he will walk down the beach and ask for the gear back, or more $. We used life jackets because there was. Bit of a current and we were glad we had them. Snorkeling oblong the rocks on the left side of the bay was fantastic, but you h e to swim around the corner for the best reef and most fish.
Overall a great day, but frustrated having to come up with cash when I thought we could pay for lunch with. Credit card. Overall lunch for 2 people was about $90. A bit expensive.

We spent a day here, from a cruise ship. We took a taxi from the cruise terminal, about $10 total, early in the morning. It was very close to the terminal, but a round about drive. When you are on the beach, you can see the ships coming and going, but it is not a direct road there.

We arrived to a quiet beach just setting up. We made a deal at Las Flores for a table and chairs and umbrella. We ordered one breakfast and split it, it was delicious. We swam for awhile. There was some wave action but we snorkeled for about an hour. The closer we got to the rocks, the better our snorkel view.

We swam into the small cave on the far left at the rocks. There is no cave diving, or even head-under-the-water. It's a small opening that you can easily swim into, we propped ourselves on some rocks (wear swim shoes) and took pictures. This was very easy. I don't do this kind of thing ever. And it was fairly easy for me.

We ordered lunch - delicious. Split the seafood-in-pineapple, its huge.

There must have been a school holiday because dozens and dozens of families filled the beach quickly. It was a pleasant, very hot day. Taxi back to the ship, about $5.
