Great mountain with top panorama

This mountain (and the pass below) was very important during world war 1. Today it is great landmark and the part of super 8 ski tour. The piste into Badia is very long and... read more

Along AV1 in mid-July, we had spectacular scenery for pretty much all of our 9 days. Lagazuoi definitely ranks towards the higher end of the spectacular scale. Vertical rock walls and jagged summits go on forever as far as the eye can see. The hiking trails in the area are above timberline, very steep, and they can be dangerous when... More

Lovely views (weather permitting). An interesting 15 minute walk to the mini-peak. Also some WWI tunnels to investigate but they have no lighting (we used our mobile phones to see) and you have to crouch down or risk banging your heads.

Like most places in the Dolomites, it has a great view. However, if you want WWI history, you would be better off going a kilometer down the road to Tre Sassi - a free open-air museum that offers some old trenches and depots from the Austrian-Hungarian front. Also, if you want to do the tunnels here at Lagazuoi, you will... More

Lagazuoi and skiing the hidden valley are definately must do while skiing Sella Ronda or Cortina. Prepare yourself for long ques if the weather is good (bustide needed to reach the pass and cabin station) - but it is definately worth the wait. Great views, icewall etc are finalised with horse"tug" (horse carriage with rope for skiers) back to lifts... More

We diverted from Sella Ronda to Alta Badia to see this valley. It took us some time to find the slope towards Armentarola, where the shuttle to the cable car towards Lagazuoi stops. We managed, the minivans were waiting and took us to the cable car promptly. The place is beautiful and the skiing along the valley memorable - just... More

We stayed here whilst walking the Alta Via 1 track. This was night three of 8 and although the walk up the back of the mountain (take the cable car from the front) was a long grind, the pay off was completely worth it. If you want to stay for the evening you will need to book well in advance... More

When your skiing in the Dolomites (We stayed in Val Gardena) you MUST do the Lagazuoi ski tour. Up on the summit of Mount Lagazuoi above Passo Falzarego, you have an amazing view. There also an historical interest related to the world war but when you ski, besides posters in the Lagazuoi cable car, you don't notice much. It says... More

Magical place on top of the Dolomites with one of the most breath taking views . Up there you may view the remains of the 1°ww and the caves were the soldiers would hide and rest . Take long walks down trails or sky during the winter. Ddefinatly a must do
