I have been coming here since I was a child and now bring my own 2 small children along quite often. It's a lovely relaxed day out, its not so big that I worry about losing the kids and even though it is small there is plenty there to keep them happy for hours on end. The donkeys and other... More

Visited here for the first time in a few years, and it was a lovely afternoon. A simple, clean and nicely run park with plenty to keep the children occupied. If you're stuck for something to do, this is worth a visit. Friendly animals and helpful staff, and the pigmy goats mimbling around are hilarious!

Took the grandson's here as it is just up the road. It was nice to see the children with the donkeys and they did enjoy it,but it's not a place you could spend all day. I would rather spend a couple of pound more and take them to Woodland's or somewhere where we could make a day of it. Been... More

Tamar Valley Donkey Sanctuary is all about caring for the animals so if you go expecting a slick, glossy place you will be disappointed. However if you want somewhere rustic and family run this is the place to take the kids. The staff are friendly, the donkeys extremely friendly and curious and the other animals ie guinea pigs, pigs, ferrets and Co an interesting... As a couple we decide we would like to see the donkeys but we're unsure thinking it was only for the kids but we loved it!

Love love love this Donkey Park! Friendly staff who are obviously dedicated to looking after the characterful donkeys and goats as well as the ponies, pigs, ducks and ferret. The donkeys and goats love to be made a fuss of and will follow you round gently nudging you to remind they like a treat. We were able to groom them... More

What a quaint place. Very dedicated staff looking after small ponies donkeys and horses. I wish someone could give them a few thousand to improve the place. It's clean and very interesting g to walk round and feed the animals. There is also a great play barn for kiddies

Such a great place! The gentleman on the front desk knew all about the history of each animal, clearly passionate about the animals and friendly, you can buy bags of food from him to feed the animals as you go round. Once into the main area quite a few of the animals are loose and will come to ask for... More

I visited here on a rainy day, with my teenage daughter. It is a lovely place where the animals are obviously top priority. We fed and stroked the animals and could walk freely around. This is a humbling place where people care so much about the animals welfare and was lovely to see a private charity (not a big commercialized... More
