Took an organised tour from my hotel in Khlong Muang today to Hong Island as I thought this maybe quieter than some of the other island tours that you can do. No more than 30 minutes to where the boat left from and a 30...More

We decided to visit one of the islands and by chance we jumped on boat with others to Hong island. It's an hours ride on long boat which is quite uncomfortable.. it's worth it but if we returned I'd spend the extra to go by...More

The organization of the trip is bad. All the groups are gathered in one place and it takes over 1 hour to depart. It takes about half an hour to get to the first island for snorkeling (with a longtail boat). We never get it,...More

My partner and I signed up for the speedboat tour to Hong Island and we were amazed! It was the most beautiful beach we both have ever been to. It was worth every penny. We were both in heaven.

Kayaking around hong islands was the most peaceful activity that you can do at Andaman. Enjoy the mood!

We signed up for a speedboat tour to Hong island (together with a few more islands) and we really enjoyed the trip. We had an awesome tour guide, scenic view, clear emerald water, plenty of sunshine, relaxed and had lunch on the beach, did some...More

Took the day trip through the Phulay Bay Resort (Inclusive). What a wonderful long tail boat experience. Right out of a movie set, you sail past these rock formation islands, that are an experience of at lifetime. You arrive to a gorgeous beach, with snorkeling...More

Like many other reviews, this spot is crowded, more people and fishes, especially Mainland Chinese tourist. I'm all about snorkeling, but the visibility here is quite bad, can't capture anything on my GoPro. Not allow to fly a drone here without a permit. Only came...More

If you are after fish and coral, Hong Islands will leave you disappointed. Better head to the Similan or dive spots like Koh Tao. But the islands themselves are beautiful, which makes the longtail boat ride quite pleasant. We started out from Tup Kaek beach,...More

Visited Hong island and three other islands nearby yesterday. Booked with Barracudas Tours in Krabi. The day started badly with the bus arriving at my hotel three quarters of an hour late and already full of people. Unbelievably we went on to collect another 10...More

I stayed at a local's house. I went with a boat operator that he recommended. There was no tour company involved. Tour was private for the 6 of us, but was on a set island list (I had no say in destinations, and the boat... More

I don't think so. Koh Hong (Hong Island) is very small, no ferries go there. You need a tour or a private long-tail boat. I also tried a big ferry from Krabi to Phuket but had no luck since the tickets had all sold out... More

We went by little princess tours. I recommend to do Hong Island. They will take you to a few nearby islands as well. Much better then the usual 4 island tours which is over crowded.
