We spent a glorious afternoon at the Arboretum, enjoyed the sunshine and blue sky and amazing views. The trees will be glorious once there has been a good rain and the passing of time will only increase the beauty as the trees grow. Even though...More

Our international travellers loved this place, we went on a free guided walk which was very informative. Visited the Bonsai exhibition which is amazing and watch the trees being pruned, able to talk with the volunteers doing the work.

We entered the impressive 72 million building and expected good food, raw meat, cold food, warm coffee and trees that need a few years to mature, I was sorry I visited

I visited this place with a school group. We all found it very educational seeing all the rare and endangered species of plants and trees. The Bonsai exhibition was simply outstanding.

Excellent views of Canberra, both over the lake and back towards Mt Stromlo and over the Brindabellas. Restaurant and cafe are good. Bonsai exhibit interesting. Great place to fly kites - often see people with their kids running on the grass. Great spot for events.

Geoff is correct but it is good to know that all monies collected via parking is redirected into the upkeep of the fabulous Arboretum. The cafe prices are very reasonable too. Enjoy your visit! 🌲🌳🌴
