Ok for a Golf stay
Sep. 2020
Nice location but needs updating. It was advertised as a 2 bedroom suite but the unit was very small and basic. We were expecting something similar to the Marriott Resort, but it was barely adequate. The only place to get food was at the Golf Clubhouse.

Disappointing
Oct. 2019
The accommodations are tightly spaced over multiple buildings. The description of the suite was slightly exaggerated, starting with the "garden view" which in fact was a view of the alleyway between the building we were in and the building on front of it, perhaps within 30 feet. I did ask on check in if there were stairs or an elevator and was told maybe 3 steps. In fact, we had to go down a steep walkway to 3 steps, then 5 more steps to the "balcony" which made carrying luggage etc difficult taking into consideration the rainy weather. The "balcony" was the wooden deck to access the suite, beginning with a tiled foyer containing the unlocked electrical panel. This foyer and the close proximity of the next building made the suite itself quite dark Once inside the suite, the rooms were comfortable and spacious but the fireplace had no wood nor artificial logs to burn and the "spa" tub was not the expected jetted tub but merely a deep soaker tub. The additional $28 Resort fee was also annoying.
We visit this area annually but will not return to this resort as we feel the value is not sufficient to justify the amount charged.

Smelly room
Sep. 2019 • Couples
Very dissapointed not even close to 5 stars. Room smells like a sewer.
Front desk very unhelpful. Are told online to golf there you must be a resort guest but when you arive were told members only but would refer us to a member club an hour away. What! Would not even let us use driving range.only good feature was dining room. Excellent meal. Then only got to dine one night after raising hell.
Will never stay at a club link golf resort again.

Very nice Club House and Golf Course
May 2019 • Business
I didn't play golf however we came to the area for a dinner and the green at 18th hole was very nice overlooking the club house. The people in my group that played golf said the golf course was nice considering they were here in May. This club house was a nice place to come for drinks, lunch or dinner.

A spectacular golf course
Sep. 2018
We did not stay at the Rockycrest Resort but played the course. The course was in excellent condition, with the exception of a noticeable fungus on some of the greens. This is a friendly course, and although by name it is rocky, the greens were fair, and we really appreciated the marshall very clearly explaining pace of play to all players being sent off. That really makes a difference, when you can play at a decent pace. Good on course management for enforcing pace of play. The scenery on this course is as good as it gets, and we saw a deer behind one of the greens. We played Lake Joe two days later, and found it to be very different, much harder and unplayable greens, and tons of water, I would suggest the course might have drainage issues. Also, no respect for pace of play, we are four seasoned players, and waited almost 20 minutes at times to tee off. Looks like members can drive around the course and jump in as a single or double if there is room. Wha??? If I had to choose between this RockyCrest and Lake Joe, I'd take Rocky in a heartbeat. Would highly recommend this course, and the restaurant serves great martinis and kettle cooked chips.

Weekend Golf Trip
Aug. 2018 • Friends
Twenty friends decided to stay at Rockycrest resort and play some golf. We played Rockycrest golf club the first day. There is a lot of rocks on the coarse. You have to avoid the rocks and stay on the grass. Its a challenging but beautiful coarse, with nature all around. The views are breathtaking. Its like playing in paradise. Great golf coarse and friendly helpful staff. I really enjoyed the day.

Love this course
Sep. 2018 • Couples
We were able to play this ClubLinks course because we stayed at the resort. Nice practice areas. Starter was really friendly. The course is great with lots of variation including elevation changes. We were able to play as a twosome and the pace of play was good. We’ll be back!

Had breakfast at the clubhouse and later, dinner as well. Food was quite good and reasonably priced.

Professional to a Flaw

I came here twice while I was staying at nearby Rocky Crest Golf Resort, and had a mixed experience. The first time was nice; they served great drinks, and the food was quite good. The second time though, they had a VIP event going on, and despite the fact that I was a paying member at their next-door resort, I couldn't even get a bite at their then-empty restaurant.

Beautiful place, customer service challenges
Jul. 2017 • Family
Room was great, two room suite. Lots of room. Teens had fantastic time using the water park, kayaks, paddle boards. There never seemed to be a wait for these nor did it seem super busy. Staff at water sports very helpful and friendly.

Restaurants were okay. Limited choices at any of them. Service was good.

My 2 biggest complaints. The wifi was HORRIBLE. The best wifi reception was in the parking lot or the dock, but not in the rooms. I've had better wifi on a beach in Cancun. Secondly, the staff needs to go through some customer service training. One staff member blocked the path to the rooms and forced us to drag our suitcase through the landscaping to get to our rooms. He stood there and watched us pull suitcases through the trees. 4 other staff stood right next to us while we tried to figure out where our room was, and didn't offer any help.

If they can work on those issues, the place would be much more recommendable.
