It should be done when water fills in the cave as it sparkles. It’s a dark cave. Bats are seen inside. The floor is made of broken wooden planks. It will take 10 minutes to complete the cave. It’s Excellant adventure. But if water is not there, no point. And yes, it’s in Railay beach, not aonang.

Only about a 15 minute commitment. Worth the trip to see some cool bats and the impressive caverns. 200 TBH per person I think, which is quite cheap. About 5 USD per person.

Visiting the cave is a must while in Railay as much to say you’ve been as to see it in all its grandeur. It’s somewhat smaller than expected but worth the 15-20 minutes to slowly walk and observe

This is a spectacular cave with amazing rock formations. The only downside as most people have commented is that it’s small so you can do this in half an hour if not less, but it was worth seeing and super cheap to go in…in fact it was a welcome and very cool break from the searing heat outside! The only other thing to be aware of is that while it is pretty well lit inside, not every part of the walkway is perfect nor is there a barrier in place everywhere so you will need to hold on to kids at all times!

There was a modest admission fee of about 80 baht per person. The cave is well lighted and has some beautiful stalactite rock formations. But it was very small in comparison to most other caves we have visited in Thailand.

This was an experience! We got to see amazing rock formations and a bat family hanging from the ceiling. The only negative this was that it was not bigger/longer.

Nice place, but more interesting is outside trail. It's pity, that local authorities made so little here. It could be done SO MUCH interesting here... you can make more trails, on different levels, go upper, explore upper holes etc.

And the people who sell tickets - they do not give any tickets, they just put money (100 baht) in their pocket, so I recommend to police make a notice

The Tham Phra Nang Nai Cave is only a very short scenic walk from Railay Village. Plenty of monkeys to see on the way. The cave has an entrance fee, I don't remember exactly how much, but NOT expensive. (To cover maintenance fees I assume). Good solid walkway leads in, and through the cave. Once inside it is well illuminated to show off the gorgeous rock formations, which I would characterize as being a cross between out of this world, and like a cathedral like.(see photos). My family and I found the cave to be quite breathtaking and enjoyable...

On our recent day trip to Railay Beach, Ao Nang what a fabulous find we’re these caves. A small fee of 100 baht to go inside well worth the cost. It was amazing. As the area around Ao Nang is lots of lime stone cliffs the caves are part of the cliffs in the area. Took us about 25 mins to walk thru a good track and good lighting. All just stunning to see.
