Beautiful little island plus toilet facilities on site. Clean water and also hits that sell refreshments, a perfect stop off on our islands day tour.

We were on the island just one hour but managed to see how beautiful it is and the water is better than in the movies... Look for the fishes who swim with people together.

Tour company charged us 550 for a tour and a further 400 tourist tax to travel to bamboo island which wasn't worth it, plenty of nicer islands to visit around Phi Phi (locals pay 40 to visit bamboo island)

Must visit if you are in krabi. Though it is part of phi phi island tour where they will take you to this place for 45 mins or so, but try to do a dedicated bamboo island visit and you can easily spend 3 to...More

Probably the best beach and water I've seen. Crystal clear see through water, large beach with powdery sand. Plenty of trees, feels like you're on a stranded island. A must visit when you're in southern Thailand.

Did the Phi Phi Island hopping tour with The Beach group. Spent a little over an hour here. Beautiful beach that is clean. Photo worthy. Long tailed boats everywhere. Recommend doing the sunrise tour to avoid the huge crowds. Don’t go too far into the...More

It's a beach, it receives a lot of tourists who are hoarded in and then away again. Its a nice large beach and good snorkeling here but the overall experience from the boat companies taking you around the Phi Phi islands is shocking. They don't...More

This island was so beautiful. The bit where the boat drops you off is has very white sand and it is just spectacular. Snorkelling wasn’t the best but would definitely recommend walking to the other beach where you can see more fishes and the snorkelling...More

Most offers includes, speed boat, lunch buffet, snacks, water, snorkeling glasses. Look for Barracudas travel tour. They're very...More

We actually stayed in one of the islands for 3 nights. Bamboo island was 30 Minute boat ride away. Do not pay a high price by taking a tour, walk around beach and ask any of the guys hanging out by their boat to take you... More

Bamboo island tends to be part of a package. There are no amenities there, hence the reason why it’s usually part of a tour. Snorkelling is good but there is a lot of broken coral- expect to pay up to £100 per person with... More
