It looked promising on the promotional video. The setting was good...natural, green, even a small waterfall...lots of fish. But that's about it. We expected to see a bit more fauna apart form a pet dog, a baby monkey (whose mother was chained like a dog),...More

My partner and I visited the catfish farm in May 2017. I would advise not to visit. The place is run down, the animals are not well looked after, the environment in which they live is also run down which is very sad to see....More

If you've run out of things to do in Ao Nang/ Krabi and are bored, you could do this. However, for all others I would avoid it. It's run by an American woman and her two daughters and they charge 50B for entrance and fish...More

The Catfish Farm is a unique place, and very interesting for children and adults alike. It is fun to watch the catfish crowd around the food that you get to feed them. The place is very well maintained and has small trails which give you...More

The owners have been very creative to turn their backyard into a tourist attraction. Given its name "Catfish Farm", it's not unreasonable to expect to see a farm of giant catfish, but instead you can see some catfish in a dirty pond, some chickens, a...More

Yes, I took a tuk tuk. It was one that's near the main beachfront stretch of road. I think they even advertised on the sign "Catfish Farm". It was for round-trip. The driver waited while we walked around. It took about 30... More
