We had a private boat taking us to Poda Island. By choosing that option the boat driver took at a remote part of the island were we had 500m of beach to our selfs for 2 hours.

Was the last stop of 4 Island tour. Very near to krabi. You can get a speed boat to reach there. But I would suggest you to do the full tour. If u carry your own snorkelling kit that will be much better.

We took boats everywhere when we were in Thailand. I won't be reviewing each island but I thought I will review this one as it was the one I liked the most. It is a national park so the beach is cleaned and maintained. They...More

All the beaches nearby Krabi that are offered as part of the 4 island trips are absolutely breath-taking BUT that is what I know they must look like without the crowds and crowds of tourists that all arrive everyday at the same time! It spoils...More

We are a family of 6 including an infant going to krabi on the 19th of december 2015 till the 23rd....have read quite a lot of reviews about the cattle class treatment at these organised phi phi and 4 island tours by speed boat.... Could some body help me in selecting a private tour where i could book my own speed boat and help organise a two day island excursion tour with choicest of location and also an update on the possible costs. We were also planning to drive down to phuket on a hired car....would this be a good idea? Please advise. Regards Saif India

That time when we went, there weren't any restaurants yet. Just a few dilapidated shacks which I think might have been where the bars are. There's also a very disgusting toilet which I do not think you might want to use.
Hi Richard, Where did you rent the boat from? We have a group of 5 pax. Kindly advise urgently as we will be setting off in a week time. Cheers

Nothing much to add to the above useful answers. Speedboats depart from the Nopparathara beach pier which is just a short tuktuk ride away from Ao Nang beach. Book a half-day tour called the Four Island tour for which a... More
