Its small but vibrant township around Ao Nang beach. Lot of 7-11 and family mart competing with eateries. Food shops, massage parlors are competing with each other to outnumber. Colorful market parallel to the beach. Drinks, show, entertainment every thing is there. Almost calm beach...More

Compared to Pattaya or Phuket, Krabi and Ao Nang are more laid back but have plenty to do. The beaches aren't overcrowded, there is plenty of night life, the water is a beautiful turqoise, and the islands are accessible. One note, there are Veranus (water...More

Visited in 2012 and loved the laid back vibe and small town feel of Ao Nang so I was a little taken aback to see how much things have changed since. Sure some developments were good but the charm of the Ao Nang I knew...More

This is a pretty beach near to Ao Nang, and not as busy as others. You can get here by boat, and it's on the way to Railay.

Some discrepancies in reviews. Ao nang is the town with all the stores along the beachfront which has the gravelly sand. This beach is the one you walk to at Railay Beach as you pass under the caves. At the end is the princess Cave...More

A pleasant beach, a good place to watch the sunset. Lots of boats going back and forth. Its slightly gravelly and not white sands as you would expect. Its very busy with loads of restaurants facing the beach.

Ao Phra Nang is Ao Nang as a whole. The beach on Railay is Phra Nang Cave Beach.
