This street has a lot of little shops to buy souvenirs, medicine, refreshments, silver etc. but that's about it. Popular bars and resuarants near by. A bit crowded at rush hour. Pro: most salesmen speak fluent English. Ensenada has way better places to go.

So many people seem to be worried about the vendors pushing their wares but they are harmless. Just tell them no gracias and they’ll leave you alone. It’s still not pretty exciting but something to do and you might even find something you like. Just remember to haggle prices down to a thrd of their original asking price.

This street is a safe walk from where the cruise ship shuttles leave off passengers. Usually the ships provide maps of the area. This street was easy to find. If you're interested in purchasing good silver (not the street vendor silver trinkets), this is the place to find a unique item. You can find touristy junk as well.

If you have ever been to Revolution Blvd in Tijuana then you don't need to bother coming to Ensenada. If you're in college and still binge drink and think doing shots is the way to have fun then this place is for you. But if you have higher expectations then go to Cabo.

Nice city to see. It has lot of restaurant store, and night life, some have live music too. Walk around the harbor and don't forget to eat the seafood village (They said that if you don't eat a seafood taco there, you don't visit Ensenada). Plus you can buy all kind of flesh sea food there too. Check carefully with... More

Avenida Lopez Mateos! This is like the main drag for Tourists. Plenty of shops and restaurants to try. But get off of the beaten path and explore the local hang outs like Mariscos El Guero!

If you're on a cruise and you have to go somewhere quick, I suppose this is the only touristy place to go but I'd recommend the Cultural Center where at least you get to see something of Ensenada/Mexico instead of an aggressive tourist trap where the vendors constantly accost you (in weirdly perfect American English) as you walk up and... Besides this being the main shopping area where most people go that arrive by boat there is not much to do here. You can by just about anything you would expect in a tourist area but don't expect it to be super cheap as most people think. You will pay the same prices for just about anything you buy like... We walked up and down the streets. It was wonderful. So, so many Mexican people. I would go again! We really liked the people.
