Just got back from bringing visiting Australian relatives down to Ensenada for the day. It was mid week but the Carnival cruise ship was in port so the downtown street was active. All the shops have pretty much the same merchandise and fight for your...More

Main downtown strip where all the cruise ship touristas go. A few decent restaurants, and blocks and blocks of the SAME blankets, tee shirts, leather beer can holders and souvenirs. Been there. Done that

We walked up and down around Avenida Ruiz--very interesting! So many, many Mexican people and so many, many "tourists."

Lots of small shops and bars for an afternoon relax and a couple of Margaritas. Especially Cantina Hussong's is worth a visit in the evening.
