It was a pleasant surprise to learn that Mexico produces wine, and upon checking into our hotel, we were asked if we would be interested in a wine tour. Pedro picked us up the next day and we set off on the ruta del vino. First stop (extra charge) was the wine museum, which gave a good insight into the... More

Ray took us in his Limo Van to several wineries in the Guadalupe Wine Valley. The van is very comfortable. I love that I could stand in the van without hitting my head. We had a great time in the Valley. We sampled not only wines; but several different types of cheese, breads and olive oils.

This is a must-do activiy when visiting Ensenada. We went to the Museum and some vineyards including Cetto, 5 Madera, el Tigre etc. You are able to buy a bottle at the local wineproducer and enjoy it in the gardens or restaurant.

It's no secret that the Mexican wine industry has been growing and Ensenada's wine valley is a testament to this. One of the stories that captivated me was of a pair of hotel managers who came to the valley, fell in love and put a winery. There are many places that look pretty good and you can have a great... Headed up to valle del vino, while on a trip to Ensenada, Baja California MX. Made reservations at Finca Altozano. There are lots of "fincas" hacienda style ranchs along the way. The food is great and reasonable priced. The people are great. I entered Baja through Tijuana, on the toll road along the ocean. We stayed several says in Ensenada,... More

Firstly, I decided to go the wine route with my sisters as usual. I booked a helicopter the entire day with Erick Arambula , actually he is the only private pilot in the Area. We went to the entire zone in one day , It was really worth it, the scenery and wine were just perfect the people were charming... More

Haven't done an actual wine tour because we are retired and live about 35 miles from Mexico's Valle Guadaloupe and drive up there when we can, but the Valle is lovely. Very familiar with Napa and Sonoma in California and wine country in Monterey County. Wineries are trying very hard to improve their product and produce good juice. Many of... More

Fernando was an excellent guide always pleasant and accommodating. Next time we will ask to pick the wineries. We went out to the valley on a Wednesday. Suggest going Thursday - Sunday for more choices.

This route is absolutely amazing, it has a couple nice restaurants and of course different places to taste wine. Even though we drove from Phoenix to Ensanada we ended up catching a cab to "Encuentro Guadalupe " which was a good idea because the cab driver pointed out other great places to visit along the way. next time more likely...
