I visited in December so did not have to deal with the crowds. Most all of the visitors were locals on vacation. The back drop to this shallow, warm bay are the desert mountains. Palapas line the wide, expansive beach area with soft white sand....More

Very beautiful scenery, lots of people, but you can always walk a little further to get away from the crowds. Rented a SUP for a bit to get to the mushroom rock, some swam but got stung by little plankton if you got further out...More

A crowded place but wonderful. The shallow water goes on forever and you can find yourself a secluded place all to yourselves. No facilities but a small trailer that sells some items

We rented a double kayak and paddled almost straight across the bay to our own beach and snorkeled along the rocky cliffs. Great snorkeling continues towards the mouth of the bay and around into the next cove. There is where the best fish viewing occurred....More

Beautiful beach. We were told that there were no facilities there. There were palapas (umbrellas) and one stand selling snacks. They don't sell much, so you should bring your own snacks.

Nice scenery you can walk out in the water for ever, we were told to shuffle your feet because of the small sting rays

Excellent for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling, but beware of thieves scouting the area and hitting your car while they notice you are off in the water swimming. Other than that, this is a small piece of heaven. Located a good 10-15 miles out of La...More

If it wasn't windy it would have been perfect. Beach was very clean and water was beautiful. We hiked around the rocks and nestled up on the beach away from many people.

We kayak here during the winter months. Its one of our favourite places within a short distance to La Paz.

The water is very shallow all the way across the bay. You can only snorkel when you swim around the corner past "the mushroom" rock. It is the best protected beach from wind and is lovely.

We rented a car for the day. Stopped off in Todos Santos for couple hours then drove to Las Paz for lunch. After lunch continued on to Balandra beach.

I do recall seeing some people sleeping on that beach. It would be a great idea.
