It will be nice when its finished! Currently (Jan 2018) its undergoing some major refurbishment. Nice statues featured along the way. Lovely views and colours at sunset.

It's a nice place for a stroll, a jog, or even to drive by in your car. I would walk it often and it's just a easemt place and it's nice to look at.

Loved walking the Malecon every evening. Beautiful scenery and access to great restaurants and bars.

Well worth spending an afternoin walking the area. Many great bars and restaurants as well as water activities and cultural destinations.

There's obviously been an effort to beautify this walkway round the bay. It's looking good so far with neat sections and great statues. It just needs to be finished and some seating provided along what might well become the Promenade to compare to The Prado!!

The Hotel Blue is where we stayed, the room was very reasonable and included breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the Malecon. If you are looking for a tour operator, I can highly recommend VIP. Enjoy!

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.
