The cathedral was only a block away from our hotel, El Angel Azul, and across the street from a lovely square. The door seemed to be open all the time except after 9:00PM or so. Stop in and say a prayer, or attend one of...More

We walked all over the area and loved going inside the cathedral for a look. It is peaceful and quite lovely. Nothing more to it really than just looking around or sitting in a pew to cool off or pray in silence.

We always like to visit places of worship though out the world just for the beautiful architecture! Beautiful exterior with a plaque explaining the churches history. A service was in progress so we just peeked inside and the interior and stained glass was gorgeous.

This is a very pretty mission. The outside is well maintained and they are working on the inside. Beautiful stained glass windows and just a lovely place. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful old Cathedral with lots of history. Seen quite a few wedding parties here over the years. Lots of color in the family wedding settings here.

Beautiful cathedral in the zocalo. However found it very strange that as soon as we walked in a lady was begging us for money.

The best church to pray, a nice church to visit, in the center of the town, enjoy and pray! This is a blessed country!
