The weather on our day visit to Coronado Island was perfect and we saw dolphins, sea lions and other wildlife. I would visit the island again, just not with this tour operator. The tour personnel were unfriendly and uncommunicative. The lady who picked us up at our hotel did not introduce herself, complained non stop about how tired she was... More

We took a tour to Coronado Island for snorkeling and to San Javier mission with Julio, a guide with Desert and Sea, which was recommended by our hotel. Julio took very good care of us and told us all about the history and features of the places. He was very patient with my Spanish and careful to make sure we... More

I don't know how to spell his name, but Nekki (like Nikki with an 'eh') is a phenomenal guide. We took a 4 hour trip around Coronado, just before sunset. We saw massive pods of dolphins, several types of fish, sea lions, flying manta rays, beautiful birds, and spent an hour napping on a beautiful, white sand/shell beach. It's great... More

We arranged a trip to Isla Coronado through the concierge at La Mision. Our tour guide was Efrain. He was knowledgable, enthusiastic especially about history, and went out of his way to ensure we had a good tour. We were so impressed we arranged a day trip with Desert and Sea and Efrain. We had kayaks and kayaked when we... More

We had a great tour of Isla Coronado with Nicky. He was genuinely friendly and interesting, and an expert guide. He also expressed great care for the Marina Park Bahai de Loreto and removed all trash he could find. The boat was very comfortable and well cared for - we were very happy with our tour experience.

We took two tours with Necky of Desert & Sea Expeditions. We did Tabor Canyon Hiking and Coronado Island Kayaking. Necky was very knowledgable, friendly, and a great guide! He took us out of his way to do an extra hike the first day and then to go snorkeling the second day. He was very flexible and professional. I would... More

Desert and Sea expeditions picked us up at Loreto airport on time and drove us to our first 'hideaway' hotel in Baja. We were so pleased and relieved as part of the journey was on a dirt track - what luxury to have someone else navigating all the bumps and dips. Our driver, Efrain was brilliant - not only a... I went Kayaking on June 13,2013 with Efrain Mtz, working with Desert & Sea Expeditions. Efrain was excellent, had lots of information and enthusiasm about the sea, conservation, the animals and interesting background on particular things we were exploring. I was walked over to the harbor from my hotel, La Mision Hotel, by a guide from the Desert & Sea... More

We used Desert and Sea three times while in Loreto. Once for a tour of the cave paintings, once for a blue whale spotting trip and a third time for transportation across Baja. The guides, Neke and Julio were well informed, nice and efficient. We did not have any luck finding blue whales but this was because of the windy conditions.... More

We hired them to transport us to VDP and back to airport. Picking us up from airport was great, but getting back to airport they were late getting us. Made for a crazy start of the day.
