Went down to visit a friend and had a wonderful stay. We walked the beach each morning and evening, ate delicious local food, and strolled the streets. There are so many health conscious choices for eating, it’s wonderful! My friend is receiving alternative cancer treatment...More

Thought-provoking to see the border fence extend into the ocean. There's a fun sign to take pictures by, and a wooden boardwalk to stroll down. Apparently the Amish have come down here because we saw many of them strolling along the beach in their traditional...More

Typical city beach with a lot of vendors and many restaurants and bars. Plus for some bars with craft beers. Plus for seeing the wall, interesting and emotional. Minus for the streams which makes it hard to swim there freely.

Good for a long walk, jogging, people watching.. not for swimming! We were there in early October, so right after the summer and thought the water would be a bit warmer.. not so much! There is a great influx of condos along the seaside as...More

Not in playas de tijuana but you can drive about 15 min to rosarito beach and you can find rental horses there, even camels.

For all intents and purposes, Playas is one single beach. Currents are treacherous so swimming is only for the experienced and strong. The water rarely gets warm enough to enjoy.
