This is a lovely old theater with faux red velvet seats near the church, on the side of the main Plaza del Pueblo, but sadly it is underutilized. It's locked when it's not in use or being readied for an event. Typically it serves as the venue for the marvelous Festival de Cine (Movie Festival) held in March, but in 2020 that was cancelled due to CVD-19. I've been told that movies are shown inside throughout the year, but I didn't see that occurring in the past two years when I was there during the winter months. Hopefully, when group events become safer, some organization will better utilize this gem to bring the people and visitors of Todos Santos together for cultural and civic events. Until then, wander by and take a chance that you might get to peek inside.

We were lucky enough to make it into town for the end of the Film Festival. This was a great event and the historical teatro was the ideal venue.

The place was crowded and we got the last free seats. My sight onto the screen was blocked by the corner of the toilet entrance. As I am not tall my sight was also blocked by the handrail when sitting on the upper floor.

This theatre is located across from the town square smack dab in the heart of Todos Santos. Although it wasn't open on the day we were there, but it's a beautiful building with a lot of history based on the info on the marker out front. Don't miss it if you plan to visit.

The people here were kind enough to give our large group an impromptu tour. It's a lovely theater but if you are there for a performance, get seats in the balcony which appears to have better air circulation.

There are special events held here like the Todos Santos Film Festival, ethnic dance recitals and town meetings. Wander in and check it out. It is on the old square that has been totally redone and by the old mission church.

We kept walking around Todos Santos and saw many lovely buildings - this was one of the most beautiful. There was a lot going on there and we found out from some locals that they are very proud of it. Just another great feature of this great area!!!
