Even though it is a place where you could have a good time, it can turn out to be a very bad time. If you are a local and you arrive and don't consume anything, you may not notice the terrible treatment that people who come from outside receive, they believe the last wonder of the world and they want to treat everyone in a terrible way, it is not the first city I have visited, not the first park, but it is where we have received the worst attention, dear royals, there are better places than your homeland, with better attractions and of course better attention . If you are from outside of Monterrey, I would recommend not visiting this city and its attractions, it would be wasting your time and money on something that is not worth it, visit other places.

What a wonderful park, beautiful views in the morning.
I traveled to Mty and stayed very close, took advantage of the opportunity to get to know the park.
At night Santa Lucia looks incredible.
I loved it, I already want to go back.

Neat urban park combining green space and architectural POI's. Playgrounds, fountains, boats, games makes this place perfect for an all day family place to gather. We were here on business, but I spent hours just exploring. Can't miss a beautiful sunset here as well.

3 Very good experience, nice for a walk. We also took a boat trip to Santa Lucia - very good idea to do, but long waiting. There are lots of activities available for all ages and on a hot day, plenty of trees to provide you with shade.

It is pleasant, it is to go with a lot of time, no rush, the wait on the boat was eternal, 1.5 HRS..
The passes are about 2.5 km
And there are quite a few activities once you get off, museums, restaurants, shopping, sports.
Good entertainment

The Christmas light show "Luztopia" is wondrous. There are dazzling light displays, such as the white castle, and street performers, and vendors (fresh churros!), as well as a ferry ride. Entrance is free. This is must-see in Monterrey at Christmas time.

Found this to be over rated- May be because there are no maps, directions in English, details of where one is what I can do, I did not know where to go. I did visit the Horno3 and they have done a great job of converting a steel smelter into a nice museum. Fortunately they had the tour brochure in English and I could do this without much help. All exhibits had English translation and it helped. A good 2-3 hours in understanding how steel is made and how this monster of a smelter was constructed. The sound and light show ( I missed one show as announcements are in Spanish only).
Although this is a great museum, I did not know what else was there and could not find more help. I took a taxi back to my hotel.

What a great place, a job well done.
I always admire projects consisting of giving a new life to industrial landscape. Parque Fundidora is a great example of what can be done to honor the industry of the town. The preservation of buildings and information given is amazing, it is very green and well taken care of and clean, you can tell people like it and take care of it.
Take the boat Paseo Santa Lucia, it is a nice way to go to the park from the city center (by the Museo de Historia)...

Hi, We really enjoyed this park however we had a major upset when my wife slipped on one of the walking paths/ramps along the river walk. The concrete/tile paths are very beautiful and well maintained but get very slippery, even when dry, because its such a high "gloss" tile. Anyway, as my wife was walking down the path/ramp, even while holding my hand, her feet slipped and she fell on her arm and wrist and she is now having to go to the Dr to get x-rays and is potentially facing a fracture. I wouldn't bring this up except that this has already likely happened to many others before and will likely happen in the future. There needs to be a change of the surfaces so that its not so easy to slip. It was witnessed by one of the river boat tourguides who even stopped his boat and offered to help. There wasn't really much he could do. Mainly I just want to offer encouragement to the fine people who run this very fine attraction to make any necessary changes so that this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future. If this surface is this slippery when dry, one can only imagine how slippery it must be when wet. It would be horrible if someone slips and cracks their skull just because this wasn't addressed. Thanks, Carl
