During a trip to downtown, we had chance for a short visit to this historical place. It was a function and I was not able to go in for a long. For what I could see uch better from outside than inside, however I would recommend to ask info or a local guide for better details.

Maybe there are bigger churches in Mexico, but this is the tallest one, and it has some Baroque design that is breathaking, the paintings and the safety of the location makes it an obligated stop for the foreigners

This is an incredibly beautiful Cathedral with 3 parts with baroque architecture built of quarry stone. The interior is even more beautiful than the exterior - don't forget to look up and see the incredible oil paintings on the ceilings and visit the baroque style alters - each equally beautiful although in different styles and moods.

The stonework and detail are amazing! Worth at walk around both inside and out. It is very interesting to see how the building was added on to and the architecture changed over the years.

Nothing special but I was with friends that wanted to see the church. It is in a bad area of the city with a lot of homeless people in the area

My friends from Saltillo took me on a tour of downtown for shopping & sightseeing. I was truly amazed at the detail in the stonework at the Cathedral de Santiago de Saltillo.

Visited the Catedral on way to shopping/dinner in the area. Church is on par with a lot of the ones I've toured in Europe (Austria, Germany, etc). The outside is very impressive, but it is when you enter the Catedral when you will be even more impressed. A definite must see in Saltillo.

This cathedral in the centro historico is a gem in the heart of saltillo. It is a combination of barroque neoclassic and churriguresq style. Altar of san jose is adorned with silver work. Most distinctive building of Saltillo!
