The fort is very well preserved,You can walk around the ramparts on all sides,Lots of cannon.The best part is when you go inside the various rooms underneath.Very interesting exhibits.

Been there many times it's a museum inside an old fort ! The rooms are air conditioned but you can go outside on top of fort for great views of the city ! Right across from cruise ship terminal ! A must do

The museum has their displays translated into English, so you can go and read about the history of Acapulco especially relating to the relationship with the East. The displays are nice, the rooms are air conditioned, and the view is spectacular. Entrance price is $55...More

As far as I remember, yes. Sometimes, when you don't have a handicap, it is sad to say, you don't notice. Most of the area is cobblestone and uneven. I remember some of the rooms had ramps for the displays. The parking lot... More
