A fun half day.

the boat to get there is an old tub but the commentary is fun and the time on Roqueta Island is fun with live Aztec dancers and a light buffet and complimentary bar. (no beer)

I just love going here! I've been here three times, maybe more! Great relaxing and interesting place to spend the day! Easy swimming and snorkeling is the best here.

you can hike up this hill and if you ask nicely the military guys at the top will let you and you can climb to the top of the lighthouse. lots of kids will try to guide you but it is not necessary unless you just feel more comfortable. our guide was nice and didn't charge too much.

To get to the in inhabited island you take a short glass bottom boat ride which is the most interesting part of the trip. A no frills tour for sure without a restroom. I do not recommend this tour unless your into roughing it. Pretty view though

We booked from Fiesta Americana Lobby for 600 pesos, no travel included. We ended up paying about 100 pesos each way from our hotel for travel plus a few 20's for tips. We could have bought the regular meal for 150 pesos each but the better service, food, and drinks was WELL worth the few bucks. We had a fun... More

Some people rave about it but I found it pretty much just and island. A decent place to go and pass some time and enjoyable with some mates but I wouldn't consider it a "must see". Take your own food.

Loved snorkeling here! The water is crystal clear. We saw sea turtles, sting rays, jelly fish and other amazing fish as well.

Since the moment we landed in Acapulco, everybody recommended us to visit "La Roqueta". Finally, our friendly taxi driver sold us a package (we were about 6 -including me-) so that we could get a "better deal" that included the round-way trip to the island on a bottom glass boat departing from Caletilla beach. The tour included a tourist guide... More

The water is very clear and on both sides of the beach there is a lot of fish in the rocks. Is you bring your own boat is awesone to spend a day there.
