Playa San Augustin is a welcome change to the busy tourist city of Huatulco! It is a quaint fishing community with wonderful restaurants serving freshly caught seafood! Very friendly people, a beautiful beach with great places to snorkel & very low prices!

Our second trip here. We did notice a difference in the coral though from 8 years ago. We noticed a lot of snorklers where very disrespectful of the reef and it is in trouble. We did see some wonderful sea life but it is decline....More

Beautiful beach and great snorkeling on a shelf reef. Water is very clear with good visibility. Lots of fish to see. Take an underwater camera if you have one. Lots of restaurants along the beach and the beach is long and great for long walks....More

Relaxing, beautiful bay. GREAT snorkeling too! The road is a little rough, but it was beautiful. Lot's of little restaurants & huts.

Took a taxi out to San Augustin. last 13 kilometres a bit on the rough side. Dirt road. Would consider doing the boat trip next time. Went on a Tuesday and it was pretty much deserted. Snorkeling good but not as good as last trip,...More

We stopped in here on our jet ski tour to do some snorkeling. Large reef with many beautiful fish. Lots of beachfront restaurants with fresh seafood. But not cheap! Lots of locals constantly trying to sell you their 'handmade' wares.

Went here as part of a day long boat trip. Its reachable by car so a little more built up than the bays only accessed by boat. But still not too busy. It's nice that you can walk into the water and do some snorkeling....More

The beach was absolutely lovely. The Bay is lined with enough restaurants and bars that are not competitive. Prices are very high. Bring your own food and negotiate with the collective taxi before you leave the highway because they will rip you off. Snorkeling is...More
